ADVOCATE

ADVOCATE is a Filemaker Pro based application which ADVOCATE tracks student information, both academic and non academic, that is relevant to the college application process.

This documentation comprises of:

  • ADVOCATE CONCEPTS provides the “big picture” with background information and terminology as applied to managing registrar data. Reading this chapter before you get started will provide you with a framework as you do your job. You may need to refer back to this chapter periodically as you perform your daily tasks.
  • FIELD LISTING provides a list of all of the fields available in ADVOCATE.
  • USING ADVOCATE provides detailed instructions for typical and expected procedures within the solution.
  • BUG FIXES AND TROUBLESHOOTING details various ADVOCATE bugs and their appropriate fixes, as well as information on how to troubleshoot problems with ADVOCATE.
  • ADVOCATE SOLUTION CUSTOMIZATIONS gives information on how to further customize ADVOCATE to fit your needs.

Throughout this documentation, the structure and use of the standard ADVOCATE default layouts will be described and the process by which data is managed in the system will be detailed. Please note that your screens may vary somewhat from those pictured in this documentation due to customization upon installation, or to customization done at a later date.

Please note that inRESONANCE will be referred to as iR throughout this documentation.
