Establishing Solution Preferences

There are a variety of global solution preferences that must be configured prior to use. These preferences can be changed at a later date but it is important to realize that any changes you make will affect the solution globally and should only be done with a complete understanding of the implications.

Setting Institution Name, Academic Year and Admission Season

  1. Navigate HOME > PREFERENCES > GENERAL.
  2. Enter the name and address information for your institution.

Note: If you have purchased ADVOCATE LITE, the school name has been auto-entered and is the same name you entered when you registered the product. This name cannot be changed once you have registered your product.

  1. Enter the CEEB Code if you know it. This is the school ID number assigned by the College Board.
  2. Set the Current Academic Year by clicking on the pull-down menu and selecting the appropriate selection.
  3. Set the Current Admission Season by clicking on the pull-down menu and selecting the appropriate selection.
  4. Click Apply Academic Year to apply the changes globally.
