There are a variety of global solution preferences that must be configured prior to use. These preferences can be changed at a later date but it is important to realize that any changes you make will affect the solution globally and should only be done with a complete understanding of the implications.
Setting Institution Name, Academic Year and Admission Season
- Navigate HOME > PREFERENCES > GENERAL.
- Enter the name and address information for your institution.
Note: If you have purchased ADVOCATE LITE, the school name has been auto-entered and is the same name you entered when you registered the product. This name cannot be changed once you have registered your product.
- Enter the CEEB Code if you know it. This is the school ID number assigned by the College Board.
- Set the Current Academic Year by clicking on the pull-down menu and selecting the appropriate selection.
- Set the Current Admission Season by clicking on the pull-down menu and selecting the appropriate selection.
- Click Apply Academic Year to apply the changes globally.
