System Requirements
ADVOCATE was developed using FileMaker Pro software from FileMaker Inc., the worldwide leader in software for workgroup databases and solutions. Each user who will be using ADVOCATE will need to have installed a copy of FileMaker Pro 5.5 or later on his or her machine. For offices with more than 3-networked users it is recommended that users purchaseFileMaker® Server for improved network performance, scheduled backup, and remote administration capabilities. FileMaker Server is required for offices with more than ten users.
Note: For more than 3 users, it is possible some users will see an error stating a file cannot be opened because it exceeds the host capacity. To avoid this situation it is recommended that you purchase FileMaker Server for best performance. Refer to the installation instructions included with FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Server for help with installation, or contact FileMaker Inc. directly.
