Updating SAO Application Source Map

Each summer SAO will update fields that are collected on their application. In order to make these fields available for PORTAL, you will need to update the Source Map in PORTAL Web Services. Please perform these steps only when directed by inRESONANCE.

  1. Open PORTAL Web Services
  2. Click on the More drop-down menu, and select SOURCES
  3. Find the row for the Main Source Name (Source ID is S900), and click on the green arrow for that row.
  4. Click on the SELECT SOURCE TYPE drop-down menu, and select SAO_APPLICATIONS from the list.
  5. Review the list to see if you have added any custom field mapping. If so, note the settings for the Table Name, Destination Field, Match checkbox, and Copy checkbox (you will need to re-enter these later). Here is a list of the standard field mapping.
  6. When you are ready for the update, click on the Download button.
  7. Click Continue to download the new source map from the web.
  8. Once the download is complete, recreate any of your custom field mapping (from step 4 above).
  9. If you don’t have any custom field mapping, or after you have completed re-creating your custom field mapping, you can close the Source window (click on the Done button).
  10. You may now process your SAO applications in PWS.
