PORTAL Overview

inRESONANCE PORTAL is an open-customizable solution based on FileMaker® Pro software, created specifically for Admission and Enrollment management. It is designed to help you easily access and organize vital information and integrate daily productivity tasks in order to improve your overall efficiency.

  • PORTAL CONCEPTS provides the “big picture,” with background information and terminology as applied to managing the Admission and Enrollment process. Reading this article before you get started will provide you with a framework as you do your job. You may need to refer back to this article periodically as you perform your daily tasks.
  • PORTAL WORKFLOW DIAGRAMS shows three diagrams which help explain how information moves through PORTAL and provides a visual aid to better understand how to use PORTAL to its full potential
  • USING PORTAL 4 details step-by-step instructions on how to perform specific tasks using PORTAL. You will most likely need to refer to these articles periodically until you become comfortable using PORTAL.
  • USING PORTAL 3 details step-by-step instructions on how to perform specific tasks using the older version of PORTAL. You will most likely need to refer to this chapter periodically until you become comfortable using PORTAL.
  • PORTAL WELLNESS provides videos which explain how to keep PORTAL working properly.
  • PORTAL REPORTING shows a snapshot of school enrollment and may give you insight into some of the problems with your data set.
  • CREATING LETTERS describes how to create and use letters in PORTAL.
  • CREATING SIMPLE LISTS shows you how to create lists and use them to organize your data.

Throughout this documentation, the structure and use of the standard PORTAL default layouts will be described and the process by which data is managed in the system will be detailed. Please note that your screens may vary somewhat from those pictured in this documentation due to customization upon installation, or to customization done at a later date.

Please note that inRESONANCE will be referred to as iR throughout this documentation.
