Entering Parents’ Biographical Information

  1. Navigate to Home > View/Edit Student records > Personal > Parents.
  2. Enter the Primary Parent and Spouse Contact information.
  3. If either parent does not want to receive email, indicate so by checking the appropriate Do Not Email checkbox.

NOTE: Selecting this checkbox does not prevent you from emailing this person. It is only an indication that can be used to find or exclude all people who do not want to be emailed.

  1. Complete the address information.

Notice that as parent names are entered, the Family Salutation is automatically generated.

  1. Enter a new salutation in the yellow Override field if you would like to override the automatically generated one. This will become the salutation that is used for email and labels.
  2. Indicate if the parents should receive mailings by clicking the Receives Mailings check box.
