This article demonstrates how to schedule the GENERATIONS Update script on your FileMaker Server.

1. Open a web browser.
2. Enter Localhost:16000.
3. Click Start admin console.
4. Login using your administrator name and password.
5. Click the Activity tab.
6. Verify that GENERATIONS is on the server and has a Status of Normal.
7. Click the Schedules tab.
8. Click Create a new schedule from the Schedule drop-down menu.
9. Select Filemaker Script.
10. Click Next.
11. Select GENERATIONS.
12. Select the Account name and password radio button.
13. Enter the Administrator user name and password.
14. Click Next.
15. Scroll down and click to select the script “tbx – Complete Update of Trans Totals”.
16. Under the Set an optional time limit for the script schedule heading at the bottom of the screen, uncheck the Time limit checkbox.
17. Click Next
18. Set the Frequency to Daily.
19. Set the Start date to todays date.
20. Set the Start time to 2:00 am.
21. Click Next.
22. Name the script GENERATIONS Complete Update in Schedule Name field.
23. If you wish, check the Email notification box and enter the email address.
24. Check the Enable this schedule checkbox.
25. Click Next.
26. Review the settings. Click Back to change settings if needed.
27. Click Finish.
