Syncing Patient Data in HEALTH 2

HEALTH gets its biographical patient information from your core solution, KEYSTONE or SANDBOX. This makes it unnecessary to re-enter data and ensures consistency between solutions.

For example, suppose a change in phone number for a parent has been made in KEYSTONE. That change will be reflected in HEALTH. Suppose a new student has been enrolled in your school. When HEALTH is sync’d with KEYSTONE, that student’s record is automatically brought into HEALTH.

  1. Once HEALTH has been uploaded to your server, your iR implementor will assist a member of your IT staff in adding a server side script. This script will be set up to run nightly and sync data with your core solution.

NOTE: The connection between HEALTH and your core solution works in one direction only: from core solution to HEALTH. If you make a change to a patient’s information in HEALTH it will not be transferred to KEYSTONE or SANDBOX.

The data that is unique to HEALTH—medication information, medical conditions, loaned inventory—is not affected by the syncing process. The patient’s medical data remain private and is viewed only by those with appropriate permissions.
