Occasionally, children are accepted in the middle of the year. These are termed Rolling Admits, and a special enrollment procedure must be followed to create a record in sbSTUDENTS for these students. It is important to note that an input record should already exist in sbINQUIRIES at this time. If one does not, see the section entitled Creating New Inquiries to create the record, then return to this page and follow the below procedure.
- Navigate to sbINQUIRIES > Overview.
- Find the desired inquiry record or records.
- In Adm Type use the pulldown menu to select Rolling as the Admission Type for each record in your set. Note that an inquiry record not marked as Rolling cannot be imported into sbSTUDENTS as a rolling admission. And to be a Rolling Admit, the YOE must match the Current Admission Season.
- The Adm Status must be “Active” (Archived Inquiry records cannot be imported into Students).
- Click App/Decision.
- Ensure that the Admission Decision is Accept and the Family Decision is Confirmed.
- Click the green Admit button.
- Navigate to sbSTUDENTS > Reenrollment.
- Click Import Rolling Students. All admitted inquiry records with Adm Type selected as Rolling that have not already been imported into the student database will be imported into sbSTUDENTS at this time.
- Navigate to sbSTUDENTS > Overview
- Complete student information as needed.
