Throughout the school year, information such as Emergency Contacts may change. This information is held both in sbFAMILIES and sbSTUDENTS and any changes to this information updates the records of any students connected to a particular Family 1 record. As such, it is recommended that this information be changed in the related sbFAMILIES record to ensure you are aware of all records that will be updated.
- Navigate to sbSTUDENTS > Overview.
- Find the student for whom you wish to update emergency information.
- Click the Family 1 tab. Note that emergency contact information for a given student is related through their Family 1 link only.
- Click View Family. This will open the sbFAMILIES record for that family.
- Click the Emergency tab.
- Update information as desired.
- Navigate back to sbSTUDENTS > Overview.
- Find the student whose information has been updated.
- Click Contacts. The updated Emergency Contacts will appear here.
