Asset Manager

The Asset Manager is where you will post images that will be used repeatedly in different broadcast contexts: logos, banners, and approved images.

Best Practices are to upload every image you will use in any broadcast, as only images in the Asset Manager will be displayed in Preview mode.

Your list of Assets can be sorted by namesizetype or date.

To access the Asset Manager

  1. Click on the envelope icon on any BROADCASTER screen to navigate to the Broadcast List screen.
  1. Click on the MORE menu in the status area.

  1. Select ASSETS from the pull-down menu.

To upload an image into the Asset Manager

  1. In the Upload files box, click on the Choose File button.

  1. Navigate to the image file you want to upload. Only individual images can be uploaded.
    1. Size your image before uploading it.
    2. Upload limit for an image is 2MB.
    3. Allowed extensions: gif, jpg, png
  1. Select Open.
  1. Your file name will appear in the list of Files for upload. You can build a list of multiple files here.
  1. Click Upload. Your file(s) will be added to the list of Image Asset Files.
  2. Sometimes Assets will not appear right away in BROADCASTER due to FileMaker normally saving after a follow-up action. To prevent this, after uploading, click on the green bar at the top of the screen. This essentially moves you out of the Upload area and triggers a refresh
  3. An inRESONANCE staff member can also assist you by including a button on that green bar. Feel free to submit a support request to have this done at [email protected]

To delete an image

  1. Find the image file in the list that you want to delete.
  1. Click on the starburst icon to the left of the image.

  1. Delete the image.

To replace an image that has been used in previous broadcasts

If you want to replace an image you have used in templates and previous broadcasts—such as if you change the school logo:

  1. Outside of BROADCASTER
    1. Make sure the new replacement image is the same size and shape as the original image.
    2. Name the new image with the identical name as the file you are replacing.
  1. In Asset Manager
    1. Delete the original image that you no longer want.
    2. Upload the replacement file.

To reload the page

  1. Click on the Reload button at the top right of the status area.
