Attendance can be entered in two places:
- KEYSTONE Central Nav > Attendance
- TAM by individual teachers
Entering Attendance Incidents in KEYSTONE
If the Attendance Officer is entering incidents in KEYSTONE, those incident records will flow into all rosters viewed by teachers in TAM.
- Click on Attendance in Central Nav.
- Under the heading Enter Attendance, select your entry point for entering attendance. Note that you can move among these filters when you are inside Attendance.
- MS by Section
- US by Section
- By Student

Depending upon your entry point, the Attendance interface will open ready to accept your selections. In this case, the pull-down menu is populated with sections from the MS division.

- Select the Section from the pull-down menu for which you want to enter an attendance incident. The roster will display.
- Select the Student for whom you want to log an attendance incident.
- Click the appropriate colored square next to the student’s name. There is a key below the display showing the codes associated with each color. The incident will appear on the right as one of Today’s attendance incidents.
- To change Search options, click on any of the tabs—by Student; by Section; Codes; Incidents—to change your search options.
- To search by Grade, click on the grade number to retrieve a roster of all students in the grade, or type a student’s last name in the search field.
- In the incident list on the right, enter comments, add a time, or delete the incident record by clicking the trash can icon.
Entering Attendance Incidents in TAM
Faculty will use the Attendance tab in their TAM account to enter attendance incidents. See the article in the TAM Faculty Guide for more detail.
Attendance Incidents Reports
On the Incidents tab, you can perform a Find on any field to get a found set of records.

You can then click on Report by Student or Report by Grade to get a printable report.
You can also pull reports from Central Nav > Attendance, under the Attendance Incidents heading.

Attendance Codes Setup
From Central Nav > Attendance select Codes from under the Attendance Setup heading. This is where you can set the language describing the Code and the Description for what each of the colored buttons represents, within the by Student and by Section interfaces.
