KEYSTONE Overview

KEYSTONE (KS) is a multi-division school registrar solution. It is built in FileMaker Pro and is licensed as an open solution to schools. KEYSTONE manages students, families, teachers, classes and rooms and is used to produce transcripts, grade reports, class lists, student and family directories, mailing labels, and more. The base functionality is flexible enough to serve the registrar needs of most schools, yet KEYSTONE is customizable.

KEYSTONE does not include a scheduler module that builds a model master schedule from student course requests. However, batch adding of classes and drop/add of existing schedules is available. KEYSTONE is extremely flexible in supporting a variety of time schedules, adjusted GPAs, varied credit within sections, teacher switches, multiple classes per room, and other irregularities essential to K-12 schools.

KEYSTONE can be used alone or in combination with other inRESONANCE solutions such as PORTAL, our Admission Office solution, or GENERATIONS, our Development Office solution. The integration of these solutions with KEYSTONE is discussed in more detail in related documents outside this documentation.

Please note that inRESONANCE will be referred to as iR throughout this documentation.

The example data presented in this documentation are fictitious and are provided for purposes of illustration only. No association with any real individual or organization is intended, nor should be inferred. Screen shots were taken on a Macintosh and not a PC, therefore your FileMaker Pro menus may differ from those depicted in this documentation if you are on a PC.
